Blackburn Rovers target George John will remain at FC Dallas beyond January, according to his agent Ted Philipakos.
The defender's representative has revealed that, despite interest from several European teams, John will not move during the winter transfer window.
"George continues to attract interest from Europe – most notably from England and Greece, to this point – but I do not expect George to move in the winter period," said Philipakos.
"I think we could see someone make a bid this summer, but if George wants to go to Europe he can just play out his contract and move as a free player next winter."
Blackburn had a £1m offer for John accepted last summer, but the two parties could not agree personal terms.
