Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs. Middlesbrough

Sports Mole looks ahead to Blackburn Rovers' Championship match against Middlesbrough at Ewood Park.

Blackburn Rovers and Middlesbrough are capable of moving towards the top 10 of the Championship table if they add points to their tally this weekend.

The two sides meet at Ewood Park on Saturday, with the home team searching for their first victory since a 1-0 win over Watford on October 1.

Two defeats and a draw came along for Blackburn after their victory, while Middlesbrough head into the clash on the back of a 4-0 hammering of Doncaster Rovers.

However, this weekend's travelling side have only kept two clean sheets from 13 fixtures this season, with 21 goals being shipped past them so far in the campaign.

In terms of past meetings, Middlesbrough came out on top in both fixtures last season, while Blackburn have not grabbed a win over their opponents in their last five encounters.
