Mick McCarthy has warned his side to avoid complacency and focus on Sunday's crucial game against Blackburn.
Five teams are fighting to avoid two relegation places on the final day of the season. Wolves and Blackburn are currently on 40 points, while Birmingham, Blackpool and Wigan are all on 39 points.
"Ours is a winner-takes-all game and the others are must-wins for the teams involved at the bottom," McCarthy told the club's official website. "One of us could get a serious slapping and the others could draw to leave us in trouble. We just don't know but there are so many permutations."
The manager added that he had written "Beat Blackburn" in the players' dressing room and keeps repeating the mantra. "We've just got to win our game. If we take care of our result, nothing that anyone else does can bother us. That's the focus of myself and the players all this week and I'm not getting involved in any other discussion."
Wolves host Blackburn at Molineux on Sunday. Kickoff is at 16.00.
