Team News: Burke fit for Blackpool clash
Chris Burke is passed fit to start for Birmingham City's clash with Blackpool in the Championship today.

Birmingham City midfielder Chris Burke has been passed fit to start in this afternoon's visit of Blackpool in the Championship.

The 29-year-old was forced off during the Blues' 1-3 victory over Huddersfield Town a fortnight ago.

However, Burke has shaken off the knock which had threatened his inclusion and will line up alongside Jesse Lingard and Lee Novak.

Kyle Bartley, who was sent off having scored twice in the win at the John Smiths Stadium, serves a one-game suspension, with Dan Burn deputising for the former Arsenal defender.

Birmingham new boys Daruisz Dudka and Aaron McLean could make their debuts, as manager Lee Clark named the duo on the bench.

Meanwhile, Tangerines boss Paul Ince has the luxury of naming goalkeeper Matt Gilks in his starting XI.

The Scotland international returned early from international duty last week but the 31-year-old is fit to participate as Blackpool look to bounce back from their 2-3 defeat to Ipswich Town two weeks ago.

Birmingham City: Randolph; Caddis, Burn, Robinson, Hancox; Adeyemi, Reilly; Burke, Lingard, Novak; Zigic

Blackpool: Gilks; Basham, Broadfoot, MacKenzie, Blackett; Osbourne, Gosling, Dobbie, Bishop; Ince, Fuller
