Preview: Birmingham City vs. Blackpool

Sports Mole previews the action from Blackpool's visit to Birmingham City in the Championship.

Birmingham City head into this Saturday's Championship clash with Blackpool looking to put some breathing space between themselves and the drop zone.

Lee Clark's side will be hoping to build on their 3-1 victory at Huddersfield Town a fortnight ago, but are up against a team with almost twice as many points as them.

Blackpool's promotion bid hit a snag in their last outing when they went down 3-2 to Ipswich Town, but they remain in contention at the business end of the division, occupying fourth place.

Paul Ince's side were unbeaten in seven games prior to the reverse at Ipswich, and could close the gap on third-placed Queens Park Rangers to two points with a win at St Andrew's.
