Team News: Arjen Robben on Bayern Munich bench for Eintracht Frankfurt test

Arjen Robben returns from illness to earn a spot on the bench for Bayern Munich's meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Arjen Robben has been named as a substitute for Bayern Munich's Bundesliga meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Dutch winger missed the victory over Roma in midweek due to illness, but is fit enough to return to the bench as Pep Guardiola sticks with Mario Gotze, Franck Ribery and Thomas Muller as the main support for Robert Lewandowski.

David Alaba starts his spell on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, but there is a start for Dante alongside Jerome Boateng in defence.

Haris Seferovic returns in attack for Frankfurt, but there is no room in the starting lineup for Lucas Piazon or Vaclav Kadlec.

Frankfurt: Wiedwald, Chandler, Russ, Anderson, Oczipka, Hasebe, Medojevic, Aigner, Stendera, Meier, Seferovic

Bayern: Neuer, Alonso, Dante, Rafinha, Boateng, Bernat, Gotze, Lahm, Muller, Ribery, Lewandowski
