Mauricio Pinilla tips Arturo Vidal for success at Bayern Munich

Mauricio Pinilla says that Arturo Vidal has "great quality" and will be a successful signing for Bayern Munich.

Chilean striker Mauricio Pinilla has said that his international teammate Arturo Vidal will prove to be a success at Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old completed his move to the German champions from Juventus earlier this week for a reported transfer fee of £28m.

"Wherever Arturo goes, he always plays well," Pinilla told Goal.com "He has great quality but also a lot of personality. He has character.

"Put him in front of anyone, any team, he does not change his style of play. I think that it is really his mentality that sets him apart."

Vidal scored eight goals in 45 appearances for Juventus last season to help the club win the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia.
