The Tykes have signed Dale Jennings, Chris O'Grady and Christopher Dibble so far this summer.

Flitcroft has said that he is working hard to bring more players to Oakwell.

"I'm in constant contact with [chief executive Ben Mansford] and we've had some great conversations about recruitment," he told the club's official website.

"After training at night time, we're working until about 11 o'clock at night over the recruitment side of the game."

Barnsley begin their Championship season against Wigan Athletic on August 3.
