Conference Premier roundup: Barnet stunned by Bristol Rovers

Sports Mole rounds up Tuesday night's action in the Conference Premier as Barnet's lead at the top is reduced after they lose to Bristol Rovers.

Barnet have seen their lead at the top of the Conference Premier table reduced to six points after they fell to a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers.

The Bees looked on course for a point as the game entered added-on time before Angelo Balanta netted a last-minute winner on his debut to take Rovers up to fourth place.

Grimsby Town have made ground on Barnet after two goals from Lenell John-Lewis earned them a 3-1 victory at home to Woking.

Macclesfield Town hold third place after a second-half goal from Danny Whitaker earns his team a 1-0 win over Torquay United to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

Kidderminster Harriers remain in contention for a playoff spot after drawing 1-1 with Wrexham, while Aldershot Town are up to 12th after winning 3-1 away at Southport.

At the other end of the table, Nuneaton Town remain second bottom after being thrashed 5-0 at Dover Athletic, with Dartford also remaining in the relegation zone after letting slip a two-goal lead against Chester FC to lose 4-2.

The other match of the evening saw a Charlie Penny goal earn Welling United a 1-0 triumph away at Braintree Town.
