Conference Premier roundup: Barnet held by AFC Telford United

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday afternoon's action in the Conference Premier as Barnet are held to a 2-2 draw by struggling AFC Telford United.

Barnet have seen their advantage at the top of the Conference Premier table cut to one point after they were held to a 2-2 draw by AFC Telford United.

The Bees looked on course for an eighth victory in nine matches, but a last-minute equaliser from AFC Telford's Michael Phenix earned the bottom club a share of the spoils.

Woking have moved into second place after a Giuseppe Sole effort gave them a 1-0 win over Chester FC, while Halifax Town lost ground as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Forest Green Rovers.

Gateshead made it four wins in five after edging out Dartford, with Torquay United completing the top five in the standings after a 2-0 success away at Grimsby Town.

Macclesfield Town are sixth after a 1-0 win away at Dover Athletic and they remain ahead of Wrexham, who scored twice in the final six minutes to beat Welling United at the Racecourse Ground.

At the bottom of the table, Alfreton won their first match of the season with a 2-0 triumph at Southport, and that success sees them move off the bottom of the standings.

Goals from James Mulley and Kenny Davis were enough for Braintree Town to condemn Kidderminster Harriers to a second defeat in four days, while Eastleigh remain in contention in the top half of the table after fighting back three times to earn a 3-3 draw at Altrincham.

A last-minute goal from Ellis Harrison helped Bristol Rovers move up to 12th place with a 3-2 win at Lincoln City, and the final result of the afternoon saw Nuneaton Town and Aldershot Town play out a 1-1 draw.
