A report claims that Barcelona want to sign Ajax defender Daley Blind.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Ajax defender Daley Blind this summer.

The 24-year-old has come to the attention of a number of European clubs following a terrific World Cup for Netherlands, who finished third in Brazil.

Manchester United have been strongly linked with the versatile player, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have entered the race for the Dutchman.

The Catalan outfit are still said to be interested in Valencia centre-back Jeremy Mathieu, but the two clubs are still some way apart in terms of a final price.
