Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets denies that he could leave the club.

Sergio Busquets has insisted that he has no plans to depart Spanish champions Barcelona.

The Spanish midfielder, who is widely regarded as one of the best of his kind in world football, has been linked with a move to the Premier League over the past 12 months.

However, the 25-year-old has played down suggestions that he could leave Camp Nou in the near future to seek pastures new.

"I renewed my contract fairly recently, so I haven't planned anything, because I'm where I want to be," he told reporters at a press conference.

The defensive midfielder came through the youth ranks at Barca.
