Barcelona veteran Andres Iniesta admits that he is considering an offer to move to the Chinese Super League at the end of the season.

Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta has admitted that he is considering an offer to move to the Chinese Super League at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old has been at Camp Nou since the age of 12, during which time he has amassed a glittering trophy cabinet including eight La Liga titles, four Champions League trophies and five Copas del Rey.

The Spaniard is thought to have a contract for life in Catalonia but has revealed that he has received lucrative offers from China to make a switch when the current La Liga season ends.

"Before April 30 I have to make the decision whether I'm still in Barcelona or I'm going to China. I have to assess what is best for me and for the club," he told reporters on Wednesday.

"It is a decision that I will communicate to the club first and then you will find out. I will make a decision before April 30.

"It will be the most honest for me and for the club."

Iniesta was speaking after his side claimed a 3-0 victory at Camp Nou to dump Chelsea out of the Champions League.
