Barcelona reach a club record total of 100 points in La Liga after running out 4-1 winners against Malaga on the final day of the season in Spain.

Barcelona have set a new club record tonight after reaching 100 points in La Liga with a 4-1 rout over Malaga in their final match of the campaign.

Tito Vilanova's side were ahead inside four minutes at Camp Nou as David Villa tapped home following fine approach play out wide from Pedro.

Cesc Fabregas doubled their advantage soon after, driving from deep before unleashing a drive into the top corner from 20 yards.

With just minutes 16 gone Martin Montoya effectively finished the match as a contest when he lashed in on the half-volley from distance for Barca's third goal.

A pedestrian second half saw Andres Iniesta add his name to the scoresheet as he curled home a measured effort from a tight angle.

Malaga then quickly earned a consolation in stunning fashion through substitute Pedro Morales when he smashed in a controlled volley on the turn.

In the closing stages Barca brought on Eric Abidal for his final appearance at the Camp Nou, with Malaga failing to make any further dent in a one-sided scoreline.
