Report: Barcelona to rest Lionel Messi, Neymar against Eibar

A report claims that Barcelona will rest Lionel Messi and Neymar for this weekend's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique will reportedly rest Lionel Messi and Neymar for this weekend's La Liga clash with Eibar.

Barca return to league action on Saturday evening looking to extend their lead at the top of the table.

However, according to AS, Enrique will not start his two star attackers, who have clocked up serious mileage for their countries during the international break.

Both have been in good form for their respective countries, with Neymar scoring four times for Brazil in their 4-0 win over Japan and Messi netting twice for Argentina against Hong Kong.

The pair will return to Barcelona on Wednesday, when Enrique will assess their fitness before making a final decision.
