Barcelona B have found themselves on the verge of relegation from the Segunda Division after succumbing to a 1-0 defeat away at Numancia in this afternoon's clash at the Nuevo Estadio Los Pajaritos.
The visitors were quickest off the starting blocks and threatened early on through Munir El Haddadi and Alen Halilovic.
However, it would be Numancia to take the lead when, in the 22nd minute, Julio Alvarez's corner fell to Mickael Gaffoor, who duly nodded home.
