Atletico Madrid are expected to be without the services of Arda Turan for Friday's La Liga clash against Elche at the Vicente Calderon.
The Turkish international, who has been one of the club's star performers this season, has missed Atletico's last three matches with a hernia issue.
It had initially been thought that the experienced midfielder would return to action at the weekend, but he was not present in the squad that recorded a 2-0 win over Getafe.
According to AS, Turan also did not take part in a training session earlier this afternoon, fuelling suggestions that he will spend at least another week on the sidelines.
Atletico currently top the La Liga table with five games remaining.
