Team News: Arda Turan, Mario Mandzukic back for Atletico Madrid

Arda Turan and Mario Mandzukic are back in the Atletico Madrid starting lineup for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

Arda Turan and Mario Mandzukic have returned to the Atletico Madrid starting lineup for their Champions League last-16 second leg at home to Bayer Leverkusen.

Turan started Saturday's goalless draw with Espanyol on the bench, while Mandzukic missed the La Liga encounter through suspension.

Diego Simeone has made three further changes to his side, with Jose Gimenez, Cani and Mario Suarez all coming back into the fold.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen have made two changes in the wake of their 4-0 hammering of Stuttgart at the weekend as Emir Spahic and Lars Bender are both recalled by manager Roger Schmidt.

The Germans hold a slender 1-0 advantage from the first leg thanks to Hakan Calhanoglu's second-half strike.

Atletico Madrid: Moya; Juanfran, Gimenez, Miranda, Jesus Gamez; Mario Suarez, Koke, Cani; Arda, Griezmann, Mandzukic
Subs: Oblak, Raul Garcia, Raul Jimenez, Gabi, Ansaldi, Torres, Lucas

Bayer Leverkusen: Leno; Hilbert, Toprak, Spahic, Wendell; Castro, Bender, Bellarabi, Son, Calhanoglu; Drmic
