Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is pleased with his side's goal-threat from a number of areas.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has praised his midfielders for sharing the goal-load this season.

Strikers Diego Costa and David Villa have scored 28 goals between them this campaign, but Arda Turan, Raul Garcia and Koke have also been on the scoresheet for the capital outfit in recent weeks.

"Every team needs to score to win a match and if a few different members of the team are capable of finding the net that is only to the benefit of the team," Simeone told reporters at a press conference.

Atletico currently sit second in La Liga and have already booked their spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League ahead of Wednesday's clash with Porto.
