Queens Park Rangers interested in signing Ron Vlaar?

Aston Villa centre-back Ron Vlaar is a £4m target for Queens Park Rangers, a report claims.

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly lining up a £4m bid to land Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar.

The 29-year-old centre-back, who has one year remaining on his current deal, impressed throughout the World Cup for the Netherlands.

Vlaar is said to be at the top of QPR manager Harry Redknapp's summer wishlist, with the West Londoners likely to make their move imminently according to the Birmingham Mail.

The Villa skipper joined the club in 2012 from Feyenoord, going on to make 53 appearances in all competitions.
