Gabriel Agbonlahor praises his Aston Villa strike partner Christian Benteke.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has hailed Christian Benteke as "one of the best" forwards he has played with.

Benteke's debut season in the Premier League has so far yielded 11 goals for the Villans, and Agbonlahor has praised the Belgian's impact at the club.

"For me he's one of the best," Agbonlahor told the club's official website.

"He's come into the league and no-one knew much about him. He's just adapted.

"A lot of teams in the Premier League would love to have him in their side. He works hard in training. Look at the way he plays the game. His composure is excellent, he has presence as a big guy and he has quite a bit of pace. Every aspect of his game is quality."

Benteke was signed from Genk in the summer for £7m.
