Radamel Falcao included in Colombia's 30-man provisional World Cup squad

Monaco striker Radamel Falcao is named in Colombia's 30-man provisional squad for this summer's World Cup four months after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.

Radamel Falcao has been included in Colombia's 30-man provisional squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

The Monaco striker has not played since January after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, an injury which typically has a six- to nine-month recovery period.

The 28-year-old scored 17 goals for the club this season prior to his injury, and found the back of the net nine times during his country's qualifying campaign for the tournament.

Falcao's Monaco teammate James Rodriguez was named in the side as well, while Nice goalkeeper David Ospina, Inter Milan's Fredy Guarin and Udinese forward Luis Muriel also feature.
