Team News: Dimitar Berbatov back for AS Monaco's game with Saint-Etienne

Dimitar Berbatov and Danijel Subasic return as Monaco make five changes for their crucial Ligue 1 clash with Saint-Etienne, who are without in-form striker Max Gradel.

Dimitar Berbatov has returned to the AS Monaco starting lineup in one of five changes made by Leonardo Jardim for their Ligue 1 visit of Saint-Etienne tonight.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United striker, who missed the 3-1 win away at Reims prior to the international break, takes the place of Anthony Martial.

Number one goalkeeper Danijel Subasic, Andrea Raggi, Wallace and Matheus Carvalho are also recalled as several injuries disrupt the division's best defence.

Saint-Etienne are missing ex-Leeds United forward Max Gradel, who scored four times in three games to help the visitors to a 100% record throughout March.

Jeremy Clement and Romain Hamouma also drop out, with Ismael Diomande, Yohan Mollo and Kevin Monnet-Paquet coming in as Les Verts look to leapfrog their opponents into fourth in the table.

Monaco Subasic; Fabinho, Wallace, Raggi, Kurzawa; Kondogbia, Toulalan, Moutinho; Ferreira-Carrasco, Matheus, Berbatov

Saint-Etienne: Ruffier; Theophile-Catherine, Perrin, Clerc, Tabanou; N'Guemo, Lemoine, Diomande; Monnet-Paquet, Mollo, Erding
