A report claims that Arsenal want to sign Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro in the summer.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro in the summer.

The 22-year-old moved to Los Blancos on a permanent deal from Sao Paulo in the summer after impressing during a loan spell in Spain last season.

However, the Brazilian international has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Madrid XI thus far – appearing mainly from the bench rather than being handed a key role by head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

According to reports in England, Arsenal are keen to sign the central midfielder when the transfer window opens, but will face competition for his services.

Casemiro has five international caps for his country.
