Marouane Chamakh has suggested that he wants to stay at Arsenal.

The forward, who has played only once this season, has been linked with a move back to former club Bordeaux.

"I haven't played as much, what with [Robin] Van Persie coming back from injury, but for me, it's been a settling-in period," he told the Gunners' official website.

"It's been good to play for a club like Arsenal and getting used to the league, but I'm trying to learn, enjoy it and long may it continue."

Arsenal signed the 27-year-old in May 2010 on a free transfer.
