Arsenal agree to loan out Costa Rica international Joel Campbell to Greek champions Olympiacos for next season.

Arsenal have confirmed that young striker Joel Campbell will spend this season on loan with Greek champions Olympiacos.

Campbell signed for Arsenal in 2011, but has spent the last two seasons learning his trade on the continent with Lorient and Real Betis.

The Costa Rica international will now continue his development at Olympiacos, with the chance of gaining Champions League experience under Spanish coach Michel.

The 21-year-old made 28 appearances in La Liga last season with Betis, scoring twice after spending much of the campaign in a wide role.

Campbell will be joined in attack in Athens by Argentine veteran Javier Saviola, who signed a two-year deal with Olympiacos earlier today.
