Arsenal midfielder Samuel Galindo is to have a trial with MLS team Colorado Rapids, according to reports.

Arsenal midfielder Samuel Galindo is to have a trial with MLS team Colorado Rapids, according to reports.

The 21-year-old Bolivian signed with Arsene Wenger's outfit in 2010, but has mostly been loaned out to clubs in Spain and Bolivia since then.

"Samuel is a talented young player that we're eager to take a look at in pre-season," said Rapids technical director Paul Bravo in a club statement.

"We know that his background with Arsenal has given him a solid foundation, and his experience with the youth and full national teams from his country is a boost for such a young player."

Galindo has two caps with the Bolivian national team, having made his debut at 17 years of age in a friendly against Mexico.
