Arsenal are reportedly considering a £30m double swoop for Southampton's Dejan Lovren and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Arsenal are reportedly considering launching a £30m double offer for Southampton pair Dejan Lovren and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Both players have been touted as possible departures from Southampton, who have already sold Luke Shaw to Manchester United and Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana to Liverpool.

While the Merseyside outfit are also said to be interested in Lovren, it is believed that Arsenal are keen to snap up the defender, and his midfielder teammate.

According to Goal.com, Arsenal are pondering a £30m offer for the duo, but will hold off from lodging the bid until manager Arsene Wenger discovers if Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez wants to move to the Emirates.

The Chile international is said to be a target for the North London outfit, but it is unclear where the 25-year-old's future lies as he is also being named as a possible makeweight in the deal that could take Luis Suarez to the Camp Nou from Liverpool.
