Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe praises Jamie Carragher's professionalism.
Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe has praised Jamie Carragher's professionalism after seeing the defender force his way back into the starting lineup.
The 35-year-old Carragher has largely been a peripheral figure at Anfield this season, but has started back-to-back league games in the 5-0 win against Norwich City and the 2-2 draw at Arsenal.
"He's got great character, just phenomenal," Pascoe told reporters.
"He hasn't knocked on the manager's door once to ask why he hasn't been playing.
"He is just a great professional who has waited for his chance to come and has grabbed it with both hands."
Liverpool travel to Manchester City today.
