Iain Dowie: 'Arsenal lack potency'

Former Queens Park Rangers boss Iain Dowie believes that Arsenal are paying for the loss of key players.

Former Queens Park Rangers boss Iain Dowie believes that Arsenal's lack of 'game-changing players' have stunted their progress this season.

The Gunners were defeated 2-1 by rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, a result that has left them trailing Spurs by seven points.

"Arsenal were dominating on Sunday, the goals they conceded will have been a real disappointment, other than there are lot of positives but there is not the same potency as they had before," he told BBC Sport.

"They have not got a game-changer and if you keep selling your best players, you won't have that."

Next up for Arsenal is a home clash against Everton on Sunday.
