Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's EFL Cup showdown with Liverpool.

Arsenal travel to Anfield for the second time this season as they face Liverpool in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.

The Gunners go into the game off the back of a dismal 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace in which Granit Xhaka clashed with the home supporters as he was substituted.

It was the second time this season that Unai Emery's side had thrown away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2, having done the same against Watford.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Arsenal ahead of Wednesday's game.

Reiss Nelson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Southampton)

The teenage winger is aiming to return to full training in November and will hope to be in contention to make a return against Southampton towards the end of the month, although the Europa League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt may be a more likely fixture for him to feature in.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the fixture on Wednesday.
