Arsenal's Jack Wilshere to return to full training in 10 days' time

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals that Jack Wilshere will return to full training in 10 days' time.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Jack Wilshere is expected to return to full training in 10 days' time.

The 23-year-old has been out of action for around two months following ankle surgery, but Wenger has claimed that the England international is working towards a return.

The Frenchman also confirmed that Danny Welbeck will take part in training from Monday, while Mikel Arteta and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are edging closer to fitness.

On the subject of Wilshere, Arteta and Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wenger told the club's official website: "They are not completely there yet but they are not far.

"Jack should join in normal training in 10 days. Welbeck on Monday. That's where we are at the moment. Arteta a bit longer."

Arsenal are currently fifth in the Premier League table, one point behind Manchester United, who occupy the final Champions League spot.
