Aaron Ramsey eyes Arsenal response

Aaron Ramsey calls on his Arsenal teammates to respond positively to their defeat against Everton this weekend when they face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has called on his teammates to respond positively to their defeat against Everton when they face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend.

The Gunners saw their hopes of a top-four finish in the Premier League suffer a blow on Sunday as they were comfortably beaten 3-0 at Goodison Park.

However, Ramsey hopes that Arsenal can now put that setback behind them and beat holders Wigan in the Cup at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

"We have to pick ourselves back up now," the Welshman told the club's official website. "We have still got a lot of points to play for. We are in the semi-final of the FA Cup so we have got to put things right.

"We have to put a strong run-in together now. We have five games left and we will aim to win them all to give us the best opportunity to finish fourth or higher."

Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on April 15 when they entertain West Ham United.
