Arsenal to meet Tottenham Hotspur in FA Cup third round

Arsenal will take on Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the FA Cup.

Arsenal have been drawn against Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Gunners will take on their North London rivals at the Emirates Stadium in a tie to be played in the first week of next month.

Last season's beaten finalists Manchester City face a trip to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers, while current holders Wigan Athletic host MK Dons.

Manchester United will take on Swansea City in an all-Premier League tie, while Carlisle United will be looking for an upset when they travel to Sunderland.

Chelsea also face a potential banana skin at Derby County of the Championship, while Liverpool will begin their FA Cup campaign against either Oldham Athletic or Mansfield Town.

The third-round ties will be played on January 4 and 5.
