Lukas Jutkiewicz broke Aldershot Town hearts in the sixth minute of injury time to deny the League Two side an FA Cup fourth-round replay this afternoon.

The Shots defended bravely throughout and approached the final 15 minutes level thanks to a string of fine saves from goalkeeper Jamie Young.

Merouane Zemmana had come closest to scoring for Boro but was denied by a strong low stop from an inspired Young.

Boro striker Jutkiewicz finally broke the deadlock with 10 minutes left but Aldershot responded through cup talisman Danny Hylton to draw level with his fourth FA Cup goal of the season.

Deep into injury time the 800 travelling Aldershot fans were silenced when Jutkiewicz raced onto a lofted pass and slotted off the post to send Boro into the last 16.
