Lille have registered a comfortable 3-1 victory over Ajaccio away from home in Ligue 1.

Yoann Poulard's own goal after 38 minutes saw Lille take the lead at Stade Francois Coty.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men just after the hour mark when Lucas Digne was dismissed for a bad challenge on Mathieu Chalme.

However, midway through the second half Lille went 2-0 up, thanks to Dimitri Payet's header from close range.

Payet ascertained the points for the former French champions in the 74th minute when he shot home from the right side of the hosts' box for his second goal of the evening.

Chahir Belghazouani pulled one back for Ajaccio just two minutes later, but it proved to be a mere consolation for him and his teammates.
