Joost Luiten holds two-shot lead at Welsh Open

Dutchman Joost Luiten will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the Welsh Open after recording a round of 65 on Saturday.

Joost Luiten has recorded a third-round 65 to open up a two-shot advantage at the Welsh Open.

The Dutchman had been overtaken by Shane Lowry at the end of the second round, but he returned on Saturday to register six birdies during a faultless 18 holes.

Lowry remained in contention with a round of 68 but he will be disappointed not to have bettered his score after making par on each of his final 12 holes.

France's Gregory Havret and Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee share third place after shooting rounds of 66 and 67 respectively to lie three shots off the lead.

Welshman Jamie Donaldson, who will represent Europe at next week's Ryder Cup, goes into the final round in ninth place, while Gleneagles teammates Lee Westwood and Thomas Bjorn are 32nd and 46th respectively.
