Tom Daley leads British team for Beijing, Dubai legs of Diving World Series

Tom Daley is named in the British team for the Beijing and Dubai legs of the Diving World Series.

Tom Daley has been named as part of the British team for the Beijing and Dubai legs of the Diving World Series from March 13.

The Olympic bronze medallist, who will compete in the 10m platform, joins European champion Sarah Barrow and Tonia Couch, as well as Commonwealth gold medallists Chris Mears and Jack Laugher.

Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg will also feature as they compete in the 3m synchro event following their triumph at the Glasgow Commonwealths last summer.

"I'm excited to get back to competing internationally," Daley told swimming.org. "It's been a busy close of season and I have got some good training in.

"Jane and I are building the foundations of the season and competing in Beijing and Dubai are really important steps ahead of returning to London for the British leg and the Worlds this summer."

The London leg of the World Series takes place between May 1 and May 3.
