Joaquim Rodriguez claims stage 12 of Tour de France

Team Katusha rider Joachim Rodriguez records victory in stage 12 of the Tour de France as Chris Froome retains the yellow jersey.

Team Katusha rider Joaquim Rodriguez has won the 12th stage of the Tour de France.

In the 195km stage, taking the riders from Lannemezan to Plateau de Beille, the Spaniard finished ahead of Jakob Fuglsang and Romain Bardet to claim victory.

Chris Froome retained the yellow jersey after finishing alongside main challengers Nairo Quintana, Tejay van Garderen and Alberto Contador.

Today's stage represented the third and final day in the Pyrenees.
