Neil Fachie, Matt Ellis reach sprint tandem semi-finals

Scotland's Neil Fachie and Wales's Matt Ellis reach the semi-finals of the men's sprint tandem at the Commonwealth Games.

Scotland's Neil Fachie will face Matt Ellis of Wales in the men's sprint B2 tandem semi-final later today.

Fachie will be looking for his second medal of the Games, having already won gold with pilot Craig MacLean in the time trial yesterday.

Australia's Kieran Modra set the fastest time in qualifying with pilot Jason Niblett, and will face compatriot Paul Keenedy in the last four.

The semi-finals are due to get underway shortly after 4pm.
