Sussex ease to Twenty20 Blast victory over Glamorgan

Sussex Sharks beat Glamorgan by 10 wickets in the South Group of the Natwest T20 Blast.

Sussex have thrashed Glamorgan by 10 wickets in the Natwest T20 Blast.

Glamorgan batted first and dropped three wickets early. Openers Jacques Rudolph and Craig Meschede both went for a duck, with Colin Ingram out for one.

Chris Cooke's 45 boosted Glamorgan's hopes of victory and Graham Wagg later added 18. Wayne Parnell scored 32 as Glamorgan completed their innings at 115-9.

Oliver Robinson's hat-trick saw him finish the innings with bowling figures of 3-16.

Chris Nash and Luke Wright led Sussex to victory after just 10 overs. Nash scored 53 from 39 balls, with Wright adding 59 from 36 balls with a run rate of 9.43.

The victory sees Sussex leapfrog Glamorgan into fourth in the South division.
