Pakistan set 173 to win second Twenty20 international against Sri Lanka

Pakistan are set a total of 173 to win the second Twenty20 international against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Sri Lanka have set Pakistan a score of 173 to win the second Twenty20 international between the sides in Colombo.

The hosts reached 172 for the loss of seven wickets, thanks largely to the batting of Shehan Jayasuriya (40) and Chamara Kapugedera (48).

Milinda Siriwardana (23) was the only other Sri Lankan to get beyond the 20-run mark.

Kusal Perera (19), Tillakaratne Dilshan (10) and Dhananjaya de Silva (14) offered modest support to Jayasuriya at the top of the order, though the Sri Lankans struggled to assert themselves over Pakistan as the wickets tumbled.

Shoaib Malik ended with figures of 2-16 for the tourists, while Anwar Ali, Sohail Tanvir, Mohammad Irfan, Shahid Afridi all took one wicket each.
