South Africa are 434-7 at tea on the third day of their first Test match against Australia at Brisbane.

Dale Steyn is not out on 15 runs, while Rory Kleinveldt is one not out.

The tourists resumed on 357 for three after lunch, but failed to regain their momentum of the morning.

Jacques Kallis added just 10 more runs to his score before lunch to go off for 147 and AB de Villiers finished his innings on 40 runs.
