Second Test between India, South Africa abandoned due to rain

The second Test between India and South Africa is abandoned due to a wet outfield following three days of rain.

The second Test between India and South Africa in Bangalore has been abandoned due to a wet outfield.

A ball has not been bowled in the last four days due to storms that have hit India, resulting in the match being drawn.

The game was halted on Sunday when India were 80 without loss in their first innings after the Proteas were bowled out for 214 runs.

It was AB De Villiers's 100th Test match, but it will not be particularly memorable for the 31-year-old as the contest has been washed out.

India have a 1-0 lead in the four-match series ahead of the third Test on November 25.
