Pakistan were bowled out for 128 with just two balls remaining before an unbeaten 78 from Virat Kohli helped the Indians ease through off 17 overs.

Shoaib Malik was the pick of the Pakistani batsmen with a knock of 21, but he eventually caught by Rohit Sharma off the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin.

Lakshmipathy Balaji proved the most devastating with the ball for the Indians as he ended with figures of 3-22.

Despite Gautam Gambhir being bowled for a duck off his second ball, MS Dhoni's men romped home on 129-2 thanks to Kohli, Virender Sehwag (29) and Yuvraj Singh (19).
