In the first innings of day four, India are 479-7 in 125 overs at tea in reply to Australia's 408 in the third Test.

Virat Kohli hit his sixth Test fifty off 108 with five boundaries and a six.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar offered strong support to Kohli with 17 off 40 balls as India opened a lead of 71 runs with three wickets in hand.

However, Australia soon rocked the hosts as Mitchell Starc and Peter Siddle took the wickets.

Siddle has the best return so far for Australia with three for 67, while Starc has claimed two for 74.
