After dismissing South Africa for 101, England eased to their target with 19 balls to spare to progress through to a showdown with Australia.

Anya Shrubsole got England off to the perfect start by picking up a wicket with her first ball, but South Africa helped England's cause by remarkably suffering five run-outs during their innings.

Charlotte Edwards and Sarah Taylor got England's reply off to the perfect start with an opening partnership of 67, and even though Edwards fell for 33, England were never in danger of slipping up during their run chase.

Heather Knight joined Taylor at the crease and the pair got England over the line, with Taylor finishing unbeaten on 44 while Knight added a run-a-ball 21.
