Kevin Pietersen tips England to succeed in United Arab Emirates

Kevin Pietersen is confident that England will have a successful Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates next month.

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has stated that the team can have a successful Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates.

Alastair Cook's side, who won The Ashes during the summer, face the Men in Green in a three-match series next month.

Pietersen was part of the team that lost 3-0 in their last away series to Pakistan in 2011, and the batsman has suggested that the current crop will have to adapt to the conditions if they want to avoid a similar result.

"We got hammered there last time we went because we didn't play spin well," Pietersen told Sky Sports News. "So if the guys play spin well, there's some really good players in that batting lineup.

Hopefully they do well, I really want to see them do well. They'll take a lot of confidence after beating Australia, so fingers crossed they go there and they do a lot better than we did!

"Winning away from home means a hell of a lot and we haven't travelled well for a while. They've got to go there and I'm sure they'll do well. Cook will lead the side well and the management structure's pretty good."

England are currently third in the ICC Test rankings, while Pakistan are fourth.
