Steven Finn urges bowlers to adapt to conditions in Sri Lanka

Steven Finn believes that England's bowlers need to adapt to the conditions in Sri Lanka ahead of the third one-day international.

Steven Finn has claimed that England's bowlers must adapt to the conditions ahead of the third one-day international against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.

Despite impressive individual performances with the bat, England have lost the first two games, and Finn believes that the bowlers need to produce an improved performance to lead the tourists back into the series.

"To have two defeats and to lose in the manner we did in the last game was far from ideal, but the first game was a good marker for us about how we want to go about things with the bat," the Middlesex seamer told reporters.

"The aggression we showed should give us confidence going through the rest of the series and if we can bat the way we did in the first ODI, that is a great template for us.

"As bowlers, and as a team, we need to adapt to conditions better. We also need to front up and get out there and face everything that is put in front of us."

England have won just one of their last 10 ODIs heading into Wednesday's games in Hambantota.
