Tim Bresnan has revealed that he is honoured at being named one of Wisden's five cricketers of the year.
The England seamer was named alongside four other players including teammate Alastair Cook by the cricket annual.
Bresnan said: "I am in a very select group, so it is fantastic. I am thrilled.
"I have been getting my yellow-bound copies of Wisden for a while now and to be one of the five cricketers of the year is a massive honour."
In the past year Bresnan has taken 21 wickets and scored 189 runs for England.
